What are repetitive stress injuries? The high tech office is no longer the future. It is, now! It is OSHA'S goal to reduce work related injuries resulting in medical treatment or restricted work activity to no more than 6 cases per 100 full time workers, (down from 8.3 per 100 in 1987 up to 9.5 in 1994). OSHA wants a partnership with business to develop profitable strategies for preventing and handling occupational safety and health. The object is to develop a plan for preventing repetitive stress injuries.

California has become the first state to enforce laws governing workplace ergonomics.
